The fourth installment of the John Wick saga, starring Keanu Reeves, is among that is among the top anticipated movies in 2024. Its trailer’s debut on Thursday is already creating excitement among the fans. Lionsgate, the production company that is behind this film has released the trailer on social media platforms, providing the first glimpse of what’s to come.

The plot of the film is still largely unknown, but the synopsis suggests the fact that John Wick will face his deadliest adversaries yet when he fights against the High Table worldwide. The film will have action scenes that will take place in various locations, including New York, Paris, Japan, and Berlin as well as be the longest movie in the series.

The cast members who are returning to the show are Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane and Lance Reddick, while newcomers Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgard, Clancy Brown, and Scott Adkins join the lineup. Skarsgard who plays the role of the villain Marquis de Gramont, has said that his character is not going to compete with Wick physically, but will use his intelligence and knowledge of the “evil bureaucracy” to put a test to Reeves’ character.

John Wick’s universe continues grow with the spin-off film, Ballerina, which features Ana de Armas in the main role and Reeves appearing playing John Wick. The film is in development and will launch in 2023.

In addition to the spin-off, a prequel series titled The Continental is also in the making, which is set to run for three episodes. John Wick Chapter 4 movie will premiere in the coming months on Amazon Prime Video. The show will star Colin Woodell as Winston and Ayomide Adegu as the young character Charon.
