Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on the 7th of December th, 1963 in Edo State, Nigeria, grew up in a family that was a faith-based one, and was surrounded by loving and loving parents. He is the oldest of three sons born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her faith in God to her son at a young age.

When he was still at university, The Man of God founded what would be one of the biggest churches in the world. He established an informal prayer group called “Youth for Christ” which would later become the most well-known organization of its kind on campus. This could also be the foundation for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated, with millions of followers around the world.

The LoveWorld ministry, under the leadership of Pastor Chris, became a pioneer for satellite television and Christian television programming. LoveWorldSAT became the first Christian television channel that broadcasts 24/7 from Africa through free-to-air networks. Today, LoveWorld stations can be found on satellite and cable TV networks around the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. The ministry has two healing schools, which are based in South Africa.
